Chess is a two-player strategy board game played on an 8x8 board with a total of 64 squares, called a Chessboard. The 8x8 board is separated into two 64-squares halves by the "8" and "8" squares, so it is called the 8x8 board. There are 16 pieces in Chess download total: 8 pieces for each player. The pieces can be divided into different groups, including the king, queen, rook, knight, bishop, and pawns. The board is set up with alternating colors of squares such that each player has a white square on the right-hand side of the board.
